Mammography Technologist at Corewell Health summary:

As a Mammography Technologist, I perform accurate and efficient mammography exams utilizing advanced imaging equipment while adhering to established policies and procedures. My role involves exercising clinical judgment to obtain the best possible images for interpretation, all while focusing on patient-centered care principles. With a background from a JRCERT accredited program and ARRT certification, I maintain high standards of practice in a collaborative healthcare environment.

FULL TIME-DAYS

Scope of work 

Under site designate leader, and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.  Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation.  Always follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
  • 1-3 Years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred.
  • Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Additional Mammography (ARRT)(M) certification required within 1 year of hire.

                                                   

  • Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association and /or the American Red Cross.
