Unconvetional Diner is looking for a floor manager to join the team! As a Restaurant Floor Manager at Unconventional Diner you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our dining establishment. You will lead our front-of-house team, oversee the dining experience, and maintain the highest standards of the guest experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Make weekly schedules for employees and communicate that with all employees
- Facilitate team-building activities
- Delegate to staff but facilitate and cultivate an inclusive and respectful work environment for staff and guests
- Communicate with culinary team and other heads of departments when necessary
- Ensure the productivity of team members in both back and front of house
- Greet and accommodate guests requests
- Ensure service standards are top-notch
- Find room for improvement in all aspects, especially service and customer satisfaction
- Monitor and adhere to safety and hygiene standards and procedures
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Restaurant Floor Manager or similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software is a plus.
