Principal Associate, Cyber Third Party Risk Reduction (CTPRR) Continuous MonitoringCapital One performs cybersecurity oversight for third parties to ensure contracted or potential third parties maintain cybersecurity governance, risk controls, monitoring, and response adequate to protect shared data. The Cyber Third Party Risk Reduction (CTPRR) Program strives to maintain continuous visibility into Capital One’s third party population and takes proactive steps to reduce cyber risks across our third party ecosystem.The associate in this role will be a part of the Continuous Monitoring Team within CTPRR. The Continuous Monitoring Team supports dynamic, near real-time evaluation of third party and material subcontractor cyber risk through data analytics to provide ongoing insights to the cybersecurity health of third parties, enabling a proactive risk management strategy and agile measurement of third-party and material subcontractor risk.Can you:Evaluate and contextualize cybersecurity related intelligence data following a risk-based model to determine and report on matters that need follow-up with the third party?Interpret cybersecurity requirements and reasonably apply them to specific situations?Be agile to quickly perform work when indicators are alerting to critical risks?Articulate cyber intelligence and risk to key stakeholders or customers driving understanding and influence action?Analyze large data sets to identify trends, outliers, and items for further investigation?Manage open-source intelligence (OSINT) tools to guide executive decision making?If so, then this may be the role for you!
