Ensure all QA test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly. Responsible for documentation, sampling and quarantining of non-conforming material (film/plastic bags). Primary Duties:Understand and use quality assurance specifications, standard test procedures, blueprints/drawings, and other engineering specificationPerform incoming inspections of materials and componentsPerform in-process quality control inspections and document results of tests/inspectionsIdentify, segregate and label non-conforming product. Notify management of non-conforming productMaintain quality records as per documented procedures, including test data and retained samples. Communicate inspection findings with appropriate Quality, Production and Engineering personnelAssemble job books for productionPerform quality inspectionsWage$20-$24/hour (based on experience)$1/hour shift premium (2nd shift only)Hours:Second Shift

Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm

Requirements:High School Diploma of GED2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferredPrior experience with SQF certification preferredPrior experience utilizing testing equipment preferredPrior experience utilizing /reading measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.)Proficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelKeen attention to detail with good organization and communication skillsPhysical demands: bending, carrying, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, and walking. Frequent keyboarding.
