Join our ground transport team in Baltimore orClinton, Maryland  as an Emergency Vehicle Operator/EMT where you’llmedically transport patients to other medical/hospital facilities workingclosely with Paramedics and Critical Care nurses.

Now offering a limited-time $8,000 Sign-on Bonus  -$3,000 after successful completion of orientation and probation; $2,500 after12 months; $2,500 after 18 months.

Shifts:  40 hours/week working 12-hour shifts(7AM-7PM, 7PM-7AM, 10AM–10PM, 10PM-10AM) with three shifts one week andfour shifts the next, rotating between day and night shifts and including everyother weekend. Self-scheduling available.

Location:  Report in/out of Baltimore, MD (byMedStar Harbor Hospital) or Clinton, MD (by MedStar Southern Maryland HospitalCenter)

Minimum Qualifications:
·         Graduationfrom high school or Equivalent
·         NREMTcertification required
·         CurrentNREMT and State EMT for MD and DC (or ability to obtain DC within 30 days afterhire).
·         ValidDriver’s License
·         BLSCertification
·         EVOCcertification
·         Currentvalid BLS
Primary Responsibilities:
·         Safelyand efficiently operate ground ambulance while obeying driving laws
·         InspectAmbulance at the start of each shift to confirm ready for safe use
·         Maintainprofessional radio communications with MedSTAR Transport and other agencies,adhering to appropriate FCC protocols
·         Transportpatients to various locations as assigned
·         Loadand unload patients, medical equipment and passengers from MedSTAR Transportvehicles
·         Mayassist in the unloading and transportation of patients from othertransportation vehicles
