SSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job
description reflects management's assignment of essential functions, it does not prescribe or restrict
the tasks that may be assigned.
•Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, Ammonia & Freon refrigeration systems.
•Troubleshoot and repair boilers, compressors & waste water treatment systems.
•Diagnoses problems and effects repairs.
•Performs preventive maintenance and inspects equipment for potential problems.
•Makes recommendations for modification of equipment.
•Orders parts, chemical and materials for refrigeration/heating and air-conditioning equipment
and maintains documentation and schematics of all systems.
•Responsible for daily startup of system, observe operations, read and record gauges and
instruments.
•Adjust mechanisms such as valves, controls and pumps to control the level of fluid, pressure
and temperature in the system.
•Installs wiring to connect components to electric power source.
•Maintains knowledge, understanding and adherence to safety policies, PSM, RETA, USDA,
QA, HACCP and Sanitation rules and regulation, and company policies.
•Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.
•All other duties, as assigned.
