We are seeking a part-time LPN or RN for flexible scheduling at the Polk County Detention Center. Responsibilities include delivering patient care, administering medications, and following treatment plans while working within state regulations. Location: Polk County Detention Center
Open Position: PT LPN or RN
Schedule: Every Other Saturday & Sunday 10 hr Day shifts
***Could be every weekend for right candidate
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s)
- Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations
- Follow through with established treatment plans
- Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment and critical thinking
