Our Arlington office is centrally located right in the middle of Dallas and Fort Worth, at the heart of the Metroplex. When clients visit our office, they know we care. We can discuss their case as well as the emotional toll it's taking on them.

Job Details

Are you a passionate and dedicated attorney with a specialization in Family Law? Do you have a keen interest in making a tangible difference in people's lives while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? If so, we encourage you to apply for our position as a Family Law Attorney. This role will provide you with the opportunity to handle a wide range of family law issues, from divorce proceedings and spousal support to child custody and support cases. Responsibilities:

As a Family Law Attorney, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Representing clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in criminal or civil litigation.
2. Selecting jurors, arguing motions, meeting with judges, and questioning witnesses during the course of a trial.
3. Studying Constitution, statutes, decisions, regulations, and ordinances of quasi-judicial bodies to determine ramifications for cases.
4. Interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
5. Preparing legal briefs and opinions, and file appeals in state and federal courts of appeal.
6. Negotiating settlements of civil disputes.
7. Conducting legal research and gathering evidence.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, you should have:

1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Family Law.
4. Proven experience in mediation and trial practice.
5. Extensive knowledge of divorce law, child support, and spousal support.
6. Strong analytical skills and the ability to think on your feet.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
