We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Permanent Controller to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. This role is a crucial part of our organization, responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting operations, financial modeling, data analysis, and KPI development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading financial operations in multi-entity environments.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Lead the financial modeling, data analysis, and KPI development processes to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop internal control guidelines, policies and procedures for budget accounting, cash and credit management, administration, and other activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage financial audits.
• Assess current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes.
• Evaluate accounting and internal control systems.
• Oversee financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position.
• Proven experience with financial modeling, data analysis, and KPI development.
• Experience leading financial operations in multi-entity environments.
• Able to analyze financial records and transfer information.
• Data-driven and highly analytical.
• Proficiency with accounting software, word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
• Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
