Texas Woman's University College of Nursing is comprised of three campuses located in the cities of Denton, Dallas, and Houston. We invite applications for a faculty position at the TWU Institute of Health Sciences - Houston Center. The TWU Institute of Health Sciences - Houston Center is a top university located in the heart of the largest medical center in the world, the Texas Medical Center, and offers advanced degrees in several health science programs. TWU Houston is one of three campuses of Texas Woman's University in Denton, the largest public university in the nation primarily for women, and has had a presence in Houston since 1960. Our distinguished faculty are committed to excellence in teaching, practice, service, and scholarship.
The successful applicant will have a focused area of research, clinical expertise, publications and other scholarly activities. The preferred applicant will have demonstrated teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level. Requirements include an earned PhD in nursing or a research doctorate in a related field, must have a current RN license, and be eligible for RN licensure in the state of Texas. Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications.
