Job Details

We are currently seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join our fast growing company. This exciting role is designed for a highly skilled professional who is passionate about law, business, and finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal support and advice, particularly in the areas of NDA's, Legal Research, Licensing Matters, and Federal and State Legal Regulations.

Responsibilities:

As a Corporate Paralegal, you will be expected to:

1. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), contracts, and licensing agreements.

2. Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on various corporate and financial matters.

3. Assist in ensuring compliance with federal and state legal regulations, as well as industry-specific laws and guidelines.

4. Liaise with external legal counsel and internal stakeholders to manage legal risks and ensure the alignment of business strategies with legal considerations.

5. Provide legal advice and support in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.

6. Assist in the preparation and filing of legal and regulatory documents with government agencies.

7. Support the legal team in managing litigations, corporate transactions, and other legal projects.

8. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and ensure the company is updated on any changes that may impact its operations.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.

3. Proficient in NDA, Legal Research, Licensing Matters, and Federal and State Legal Regulations.

4. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.

5. Strong knowledge of corporate law and legal procedures.

6. Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.

8. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.

9. Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.

10. Paralegal certification is a plus.
