As an Intake Specialist , you'll play a key role in managing new referrals, ensuring accurate patient information, and coordinating communication between patients, caregivers, and our clinical team. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for helping others, this role is for you!

What You'll Do:

  • Manage intake paperwork & verify patient information
  • Communicate with patients, caregivers, and the clinical team
  • Handle insurance verifications & authorizations
  • Assist with appeals & prior authorizations
  • Provide administrative support as needed

Requirements:

Local Candidates Only – You must live in Massachusetts or Rhode Island and be able to commute to our Mansfield office.

  • Experienced in Healthcare Intake Specialist – Minimum 2 years of experience in a home healthcare setting.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge – Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Customer Service Pro – Strong organizational skills and a passion for providing excellent support.
  • Top-Notch Communicator – Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with patients, caregivers, and our team.
  • Tech-Savvy – Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
  • Detail-Oriented & Efficient – Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player & Independent Worker – Thrive both independently and collaboratively while providing compassionate service to patients, caregivers, and families.
