OverviewTo plan, implement, and evaluate educational systems, programs, projects, and policies that promote and support the accomplishment of educational goals.Posting internally from 3/4/2024-3/18/2024Responsibilities- Participates in the development of other staff membersIdentifies learning strengths and needs- Identifies and designs programs that facilitate organizational development.- Evaluates the effectiveness of educational activities at the level of the learner, the department and the institution.- Develops, coordinates and implements activities to achieve educational objectives.- Conducts, reviews and evaluates department’s educational needs assessments.Selects appropriate instructional strategies for educational programs.- Designs, develops and organizes training manuals, references, multi-media instructional aids, and other educational materials.- Serves as a clinical educational resource, role model and facilitator for staff.Coordinates activities for maintaining educational materials.- Establishes and maintains positive relationships with patients, visitors and other employees. Interacts professionally, courteously, and appropriately with patients, visitors and other employees. Behaves in a manner consistent with maintaining and furthering a positive public perception of Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center and its employees.- Contributes to and participates in the Performance/Quality Improvement activities of the assigned department. Contribution and participation includes data collection, analysis, implementation of the compliance with corrective/improvement activities, membership on CQI teams, consistent and specific rules and regulations of the B.L.H.C.
