Preconstruction Manager -Commercial Construction

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Lead the preconstruction efforts for Commercial Renovation and Ground-Up Projects, ensuring that all aspects of the preconstruction phase are completed efficiently and effectively
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, budgets, and proposals for prospective projects
• Lead preconstruction meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity on project objectives and requirements
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams during the preconstruction phase
• Monitor industry trends and best practices in preconstruction management and implement strategies to stay ahead of the curve

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering/related field preferred or the experience equivalent
• 5 years Estimating experience in Commercial Construction, must have some experience leading teams
• Strong understanding of construction processes, cost estimating, and value engineering
• Proficiency in construction management software
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
