Family Medicine Faculty Position

1. Clinical- Must be board certified or eligible and completion of an ACGME accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.

(a) Evaluate assess, plan, and evaluate patients medical care;

(b) Take call assignments, including night, weekend, and holiday shifts;

(c) Arrange for another physician to care for Physicians patients when Physician is absent;

(d) Upon request, assist colleague-physicians with medical care issues;

(e) Appropriately refer patients to primary or specialty care as necessary;

(f) Direct and supervise nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other staff, if applicable, demonstrating by example the importance of delivering coordinated patient care as part of a healthcare provider team.

2. Performance Improvement

(a) Continuously improve Physicians performance and work with others to ensure quality patient outcomes and ongoing compliance;

(b) Cooperate with Employer to enhance a meaningful multidisciplinary program of continuous quality improvement addressing the various facets of Employers clinical activities;

(c) Assist with organizing educational programs for health professionals;

(d) Participate in medical group and hospital committees, as applicable;

(e) Assist with supervising and evaluating non-professional staff;

(f) Maintain effective communication and working relationships with providers and with facilities providing services to patients in settings other than those of Employers.

3. Records Completion

(a) Capture patient encounters by complying with billing procedures and work cooperatively with the Employer to assure proper billing of and collection for medical services that Physician provides;

(b) Promptly and timely complete and submit all records and reports, including medical group and hospital medical records, pursuant to applicable laws and to all policies.

4. Patient Satisfaction

(a) Assist to develop care-management that emphasizes patient ease of access and continuity of care regardless where such care is delivered and to establish a working environment consistent with organizational goals and regulatory requirements;

(b) Use best efforts to improve Physicians patient satisfaction scores and Physicians patient relationship skills.

5. Medical Education
(c) Physician is encouraged to foster and participate in the education of students, residents and fellows.

Salary Range: $259,200 - $323,900 annually
