Applications Developer SME (TS/SCI w/ Active Polygraph)

About the role

You will be a part of a Full-Stack Applications Developer team to support the development and O&M of a variety of systems and initiatives focused on streamlining operations, automating processes, and aligning customer solutions to the overarching digital architecture.

What you'll do

• Help promote state-of-the-art IT solutions.
• Collaborate with IT mission partners to share technology and lessons learned.
• Ensure records management processes and requirements are included in the early design stages of IT solutions across the Intelligence Community.

Qualifications

• Application frameworks (Spring Boot, NodeJS-NestJS); Experience developing applications with the Node.js framework.
• Must know to use an IDE to code (ex - Jenkins, IntelliJ, Eclipse, NetBeans).
• Hands-on experience with cloud technology (AWS / C2S) services such as (Lambda, SQS, RDS, S3, SNS, etc.).
• Knowledge of web services (REST) and service-oriented architecture (SOA) - Spring Boot, Tomcat.
• Experience with relational databases (ex - MySQL / Postgres).
• Experience with interacting in a Linux environment (ex - Bash scripting, VI).
• Ability to present and talk to technical infrastructure (Code Reviews; PDR; etc.).
• Able to work on shift between projects based on priorities.
• Works well with others as well as independently.
• BS/BA in Software Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or similar OR equivalent combination of education and experience of at least 16+ years program equivalent experience. Will consider someone with less total program equivalent experience as long as they can successfully perform the role with minimal supervision.

Highly Desirable Skills

• Visualize queried data into reports and dashboards.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels to present, discuss, and influence technical solutions.
• Experience with Microservices.
• Knowledge of front-end development using Angular 10.
• Familiarity with source code management and integration (ex - GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins).
