Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop new tools and enhancements for our surveillance and monitoring systems
2. Utilize Python, Hadoop, Spark, and HIVE/SQL to deliver custom solutions for big data
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and work on all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2. 6+ years of experience in software development with object-oriented languages
3. Strong experience with Python and Spark, as well as big data technologies
4. Knowledge of HIVE/SQL is a plus
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure
