Job Description

1. Expert knowledge of Netezza appliance systems
2. 7+ years in the IT industry
3. 5+ years of experience in Netezza database administration
4. 2+ years DBA experience with any other major DBA (like Oracle, Sybase, or MSSQL)
5. 2+ years scripting experience
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills
7. Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
8. Multi-tasking and organizational skills
9. Experience in SDLC and Change Management process
10. Experience with Netezza Mako appliances
11. Experience with version 7.2 and later
12. Hands-on with Netezza replication 1.6 or later
