Job Description

Position Overview: IT Experience (DWH experience) with 6+ years of experience in Informatica Development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Good Knowledge on DWH concepts.
2. Involved in creating the mappings to extract data from source to target using Informatica designer.
3. Evaluate all functional requirements and map documents; troubleshoot all development processes.
4. Document all technical specifications and associate project deliverables.
5. Design all test cases to support systems and perform unit tests.
6. Analyze data and develop/understand ETL specifications; develop mappings if required.
7. Involved in building Autosys or GECS jobs to schedule ETL workflows.
8. Involved in creating sessions, command-tasks, workflows using the workflow designer.
9. Work with transformations, including complex transformations.
10. Familiar with Stored Procedures and implementing them in Informatica ETL jobs.
11. Worked on High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
12. Proficient in UNIX and LINUX shell scripting.
13. Strong database experience with knowledge of writing complex SQL scripts and SQL tuning.
14. Extensively worked on Informatica performance tuning involving source level, target level, and map level bottlenecks.
15. Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks; decisive with strong leadership qualities.
16. Flexible in work schedules and possess good communication skills.
17. Team player, motivated, quick learner with analytical and problem-solving skills.
18. Comprehensive technical, oral, written, and communication skills.
19. Led offshore team from on-site.
20. Knowledge of XML & web services in Informatica domain.
21. Good to have COBOL & REX scripting knowledge.
