Summary

Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Oxnard team. The Project Engineer assists the Project Manager and Sr. Project Engineer with the planning and daily execution of the construction project. Responsibilities include maintaining certain aspects of the project schedule as assigned by the Project Manager, managing the process of submittal approvals, coordinating the timely delivery of materials, and ensuring projects are completed with quality and profitability while adhering to our Safety/Zero Harm culture.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or a related Engineering field OR 3 years of experience in a Project Engineer or Project Coordinator role.
• Construction work experience or internship experience is required for this role.
• Proficiency in using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, the internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook).

Preferred Experience

• RFI
• Change orders
• Punch-list
• Assisting with sub-contractor meeting minutes
• Previous or current Interiors experience is very helpful.

The base compensation range for the role of Project Engineer in Oxnard, CA is $70,000 to $85,000 annually.
