Labor & Employment Class Action Associate Attorney / Mid-Senior Level

Locations: Silicon Valley, CA

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level or Senior Associate Attorney to join their Labor and Employment Group in California . This hybrid position is available at their Silicon Valley office.

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record .
  • Bar Admission in California.
  • 3–5 years of substantive experience in employment litigation , with a desire for trial work.
  • Experience defending wage and hour claims , including wage and hour class action lawsuits .
  • Meaningful experience in transactional employment work, including drafting employment and severance agreements , EEOC position statements , and DFEH responses , as well as conductingwitness interviews and depositions.
  • Background in counseling employers on federal and state employment law compliance , drafting workplace policies , and assisting clients with employment training programs is a plus.
  • Experience in traditional management labor relations is advantageous.
  • Superior legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defend employers in complex employment litigation matters, including wage and hour class actions.
  • Draft and prepare employment agreements, severance agreements, and workplace policies.
  • Counsel clients on compliance with federal and California employment laws.
  • Represent clients in depositions, witness interviews, and trial preparations.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys on high-stakes employment cases and transactional matters.
