Key Responsibilities
- Develop data architecture solutions that include relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases.
- Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Implement RDBMS, operational data stores (ODS), data marts, and data lakes on target platforms (SQL/NoSQL).
- Develop and manage comprehensive data models to support business requirements.
- Ensure data models are flexible and scalable to accommodate future changes.
- Utilize Snowflake for data warehousing solutions.
- Leverage advanced features of Snowflake to optimize data storage and retrieval.
Required Skills
- Design, implement, and document data architecture and data modeling solutions using relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases.
- Responsible for the development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models, and the implementation of RDBMS, operational data stores (ODS), data marts, and data lakes on target platforms (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience in writing complex queries and PL/SQL code.
- Experience with Snowflake is preferred.
- Knowledge of advanced features of SQL & PL/SQL.
- Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.
- Ability to collect and understand requirements.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and be independent and resourceful in dealing with risks/issues and resolving them in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication and articulation skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel; knowledge of data modeling is an added advantage.
