We are currently accepting resumes for a Lead .NET Developer in Marysville, OH.

The selected candidate will perform the following duties:

1. Design, develop and deploy VB.NET applications according to existing department standards
2. Work with customers to gather requirements and ensure thorough understanding
3. Develop and execute testing scripts for new application
4. Document application according to department standards
5. Application performance monitoring and testing
6. Application packaging in accordance with department standards
7. Mentor experienced developers new to .NET
8. Troubleshoot existing applications
9. Solution design and development
10. Application testing and monitoring
11. Customer interaction and project status reporting

Required Skills and Experience:

1. 3 to 5 years of .NET development experience
2. Experienced developer with demonstrated ability to work independently with customers while continuously developing code
3. Experience designing, developing and performance testing VB.NET applications
4. Demonstrated expertise in object-oriented application architecture, design, and development
5. Experience integrating .NET applications with SQL Server 2000 /2005 and DB2
6. Experience designing and developing .NET applications and services
7. Thorough working knowledge of the .NET Framework and the Common Language Run-Time (CLR)
8. Skilled in development and execution of SQL Server Stored Procedures
9. Experience converting VB6 applications to VB.NET

Preferred Skills and Experience:

1. Effectively communicate technical concepts in business terminology
2. Experience using / developing applications for Windows CE
3. Familiarity with SQL Server 2005 Mobile Edition (3.0)
4. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's)
5. Familiarity with communicating to PLC's using OPC Server and Native Windows Sockets (Ethernet TCIP)
6. Familiarity with Mercury Quality Center
7. Experience / knowledge of Serial Communication (RS-232 / RS-422)
8. VB.NET using Compact Framework version 2.0
