DATA SCIENTIST
The Select Group is looking to bring on a Data Scientist to join one of our top clients in the Communications space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Science/Analysis supporting complex enterprise-wide initiatives, having previous experience in working with Lookr, Big Query, Python, and manual data manipulation. DATA SCIENTIST REQUIREMENTS:

• 7+ years of professional Data Science experience, supporting complex, enterprise-wide initiatives
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with BigQuery and Lookr
• 1+ years of Python scripting
• Experience using SQL
• Experience analyzing, interpreting data
• Strong background using data visualization tools
• Experience taking data, visualizing it, and telling a story with the data

DATA SCIENTIST NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience analysis networking data; background working in the networking space or understanding of general networking
• Experience working for another internet service provider (ISP)

DATA SCIENTIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role will consist of roughly 50% analysis (understanding what data is coming in, how best to analyze data, and how to get a summary of results). 25% of this role will include visualization (either new or updating old data sets). The remaining 25% of this role will include conducting ad hoc data analysis work.
