Royal Caribbean Group’s Digital Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Digital Data Solutions Lead reporting to the Sr. Manager of Digital Data Solutions .

This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.

Position Summary

The Project Lead, Digital Data Solutions will lead a dynamic team driving the strategic build-out of data capabilities to enhance the Digital department's BI/Analytics functions. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping data strategies, enabling digital transformation, and delivering innovative, scalable, and high-quality data solutions.

We are looking for a mid-senior level professional with broad experience in leading data-focused teams, supporting e-commerce, marketing initiatives, and digital data operations. The ideal candidate will excel at bridging technical solutions with business objectives, ensuring alignment with company goals. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, translating diverse requirements into actionable plans, and applying Agile methodologies for timely delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of scalable data solutions that drive business insights and operational efficiencies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure alignment with digital transformation goals.
• Provide thought leadership in data strategy, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational priorities.
• Standardize and formalize workflows, including requirements gathering, architecture planning, development, quality control, and production deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and consistency in project execution.
• Oversee data architecture, including pipeline design, data modeling, and infrastructure optimization.
• Support technical discussions, offering expertise in Databricks, Azure Data Factory, SQL, and Python.
• Ensure robust quality control by implementing best practices in data validation, performance testing, and production readiness.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of data environments, including table structures, dependencies, and nomenclature.
• Act as a primary liaison between business owners, report creators, and development teams to ensure alignment of goals.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.
• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and workflows.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, recommending and adopting new technologies or methodologies as appropriate.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. MBA or MS a bonus.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data solution design, development, and implementation.
• Demonstrated expertise in big data technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, AWS, as well as BI Systems and Adobe Analytics or other log-level data.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Agile (Scrum) methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
• Experience leading technical projects and supervising a team of data developers.
• Hands-on experience with data integration, segmentation, and campaign performance analysis.
• Familiarity with Agile collaboration tools like JIRA.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions and provide strategic direction.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Demonstrated commitment to staying updated with industry trends and adopting new technologies or methodologies.
