Apex Systems is looking for a VCF Engineer for one of our top clients supporting a DOD customer in the Alexandria, Virginia area . As a VCF Engineer, you will join a team to improve the customer's virtualized environments for a mission-focused customer.

Responsibilities:

• Interacts with the team daily to deliver reliable and robust virtualized environment.
• Communicates with the team lead, design group and other teammates to deliver the operational requirements.
• Able to work on a team that supports a mission-focused customer with high expectations.
• Resolves challenging problems to provide highly available virtualized environments.
• Utilizes technical knowledge, interpersonal skills and grit to solve challenging operational requirements.
• May serve as team lead.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Required Experience: 8+ years

Required Technical Skills: Security+, vSphere 8

Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI

Required Skills and Abilities: Communication, problem solving, attention to detail

Preferred Skills: VCP-DCV

Seniority level: Mid-Senior level
