Job Description

OCI operates millions of compute instances, including BMs and VMs, at scale. These instances occasionally require maintenance for reasons such as hardware faults, performance degradation, firmware upgrades, and more. To ensure minimum disruptions and maintain high availability for customers' workloads, the Compute Instance Maintenance Management (CIMM) services are designed to orchestrate and automate the entire compute maintenance lifecycle. By intelligently scheduling maintenance tasks and facilitating both preventive and remediable maintenance actions, CIMM ensures reduced customer downtime and enhances operational efficiency across the compute fleet.
