We are seeking a skilled Aviation Life Support System Technician to lead our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft through meticulous maintenance and repair procedures.

Title: Aviation Life Support System (ALSS) Technician, Supervisor/Site Lead
Security Clearance Level: Secret
SCA wage: 28.95, plus H&W 4.57
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the CH-53E/K, V-22, UH-1Y, AH-1Z, C-130J, F-18C/D, AV-8B, and F-35B/C O-Level maintenance tasks, including, but not limited to:
- Troubleshooting, removal, installation, repair, inspection, and/or documentation of egress and escape systems, inflatable systems, emergency radio systems, survival items, personal equipment, pyrotechnics, and/or other related ordnance; aircrew breathing systems; and support equipment.
- Acceptance and transfer of egress and escape systems, inflatable systems, emergency radio systems, flight clothing, survival items, personal equipment, pyrotechnics, CADS/PADS, and/or other related ordnance; aircrew breathing systems; and support equipment.
- Fitting, manufacture, troubleshooting, removal, installation, repair, inspection, and/or documentation of flight clothing.
- Handling, stowage, and safety precautions associated with pyrotechnics, CADS/PADS, and/or other related ordnance; and aircrew breathing systems.
- Perform pre-flight checks (which could include pre-positioning support equipment and flight gear) to ensure aircrew equipment is ready for use, in support of the sorties and timelines of the daily flight schedule and/or fleet support periods.
- Perform pre/post-op checks and operation of support equipment, including conditional, scheduled inspections, and periodic maintenance. These services may be performed multiple times each day as the flight schedule or maintenance dictates.
- Perform and support Corrosion Control and ensure aircraft components, ALSS gear, and SE services are performed IAW governing directives by ensuring all inspection standards are met.
- Perform all corrosion prevention and treatment IAW applicable directives. The Contractor shall check ALSS for tools and other foreign objects that could potentially put the aircraft or aircrew at risk. Corrosion Control services may be performed multiple times each day.
- Perform assigned scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on flight equipment as coordinated by the Squadron and/or designated Maintenance Control Government representative IAW the designated maintenance manuals for assigned aircraft and equipment.
- Perform inspection, disassembly, repair, servicing, TD compliance, modification, assembly, surface finish removal, corrosion control, preservation/de-preservation services.
