Position: Lead Network Engineer
Location: Owings Mills, MD - DMV Area or Commutable distance.

JD: On-site work required Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8 PM to 6 AM.
The position is typically based at the tech center, but occasional travel to the Owings Mills, MD campus and Pratt Street, Downtown Baltimore campus may be necessary. Please note that parking expenses will not be covered, so be sure to discuss this when negotiating rates with candidates. This is an on-site role with no option for remote work.
Lead Network Engineer Responsibilities
Immediate need for support related to the growth of the global Wi-Fi network, including updates, addressing security vulnerabilities, and making SSID adjustments.
- Support for Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) – a security policy management platform.
- Manage data center infrastructure, including the migration of Fabric Path to the new data center core, along with configuration and operation support.
Required Knowledge And Experience With
- MAN/WAN technologies such as MPLS and SD-WAN
- Cisco Nexus configuration and operation
- Configuration and operation of the Catalyst 9400 platform
- Working knowledge of Cisco Virtual Port Channel (vPC) and its practical applications in data centers.
- Responsible for addressing security vulnerabilities.
- Expert knowledge in troubleshooting and supporting various existing platforms.
- Provide support for 802.1x and network segmentation.
- Assist with the migration of services to cloud infrastructure.
