  • The ability to write elegant, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • A solid understanding of security best practices and core cryptographic principles.
  • The ability to quickly learn and adapt to evolving requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and analytical mindset.
  • The capability to translate complex business needs into well-scoped technical plans and execute them independently.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

While not required, experience with the following is highly preferred:

  • React/Next.js
  • Relational databases (particularly Postgres), SQL, and TypeScript-based ORMs (e.g., Prisma/Drizzle)
  • Frontend design principles, including experience with Tailwind and UI/UX best practices

Additionally, experience in the following areas is a bonus :

  • Handling sensitive data and building HIPAA-compliant applications.
  • Strong Git workflow experience, DevOps principles, CI/CD pipeline development, and familiarity with monorepo setups.
  • Cloud infrastructure knowledge (particularly AWS), Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Pulumi or SST, and Docker.
  • Reverse engineering and web scraping.
  • Data engineering tools like Knime, Alteryx, or Pandas.
  • Machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, scikit-learn) and fine-tuning custom models.
