Akkodis is seeking a AWS DevOps for a Contract job with a client in Dallas, TX / Charlotte, NC / Atlanta, GA / Minnesota, MN. Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.

Rate Range: $68 - $71/hour on W2. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities:

1. 10+ years in IT comprising of Designing, Development, Integration of DevOps tools Stack, Cloud Infrastructure Automation, Infrastructure Provisioning and Configuration Management, Continuous Integration/Deployment Implementation.
2. Hands-on expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and infrastructure services like EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, EBS, VPC, ELB, Route 53, Autoscaling, and Security Groups.
3. Hands-on experience in implementing Cloud Solutions using various AWS Services including EC2, VPC, S3, Glacier, EFS, AWS Kinesis, Lambda, Directory Services, Event Bridge, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, OpsWorks, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, Data Pipeline, DynamoDB, etc.
4. Extensive experience in creating CI/CD pipeline for containerized projects.
5. Experience on CI/CD AWS services CodeBuild, CodeCommit, and CodeDeploy to build and deploy the applications.
6. Develop Terraform modules to span the AWS - EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, ECS/EKS, RDS, Lambda, and other resources.
7. Built automated configuration management capabilities utilizing AWS DevOps services to improve operational efficiency of applications in production.
8. Building Data Lake on AWS/Snowflake to provide unified Finance Data Platform.
9. Designing and implementing infrastructure using scripting languages like Terraform, allowing for automated provisioning and configuration of servers and network components.
10. Creating and maintaining automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, ensuring fast and reliable releases.
11. Utilizing technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to package applications into containers and manage their lifecycle across different environments.
12. Setting up monitoring systems to track application performance, identify potential issues, and trigger alerts for timely troubleshooting.
13. Implementing security practices within the CI/CD pipeline, including code scanning, vulnerability management, and access control.
