Position Summary
The primary role of the IT Application Support Analyst is to provide end-user/IT customer support for the company’s business applications and software. It requires a person with excellent intra-personal and customer service skills, with a spirit to help identify and provide solutions to customer issues. This position actively participates in the delivery and support of IT-related projects and enhancements in support of Enterprise. The IT Application Support Analyst will maintain relationships with the business and IT across the Enterprise. This individual must remain flexible, manage multiple priorities, and effectively collaborate across technology teams and global business units. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diplomacy and a positive attitude. Responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to, the following:
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions Include:
- Enable faster and smarter business processes and employee productivity in ERP.
- Maintain essential IT applications, including database systems, Quantum ERP, SQL Database, and Production systems.
- Power BI Reports and Dashboard programming/design.
- Responsible for testing code for bugs and implementing fixes.
- Optimize new and existing programs for mobile use, including Apple, Android, and Windows smartphones and tablets.
- Excellent documentation skills; should be able to read and translate the logic of complex stored procedures into simple language.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining, enhancing, and deploying software & applications.
- Expert knowledge of C++ and at least one other programming language.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be fluent in English (written and verbal); Spanish is a plus.
Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
- Certifications: SQL, Oracle, Java, Python, and C++.
- Experience in Aerospace, Aviation, or MRO ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills to work with product, architect, and technical teams.
