Akkodis is seeking a Mobile Developer for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) . Responsibilities include designing, developing, and prototyping Android applications, writing automated tests using frameworks like Appium, and collaborating with product teams to implement new features and updates.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Mobile Developer job responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and prototyping Android applications for both phone and tablet platforms
• Writing and maintaining automated tests using frameworks like Appium
• Collaborating with product teams on new ideas, designs, and prototypes
• Implementing application updates and ensuring app quality and performance
• Identifying and resolving application bottlenecks and bugs before final release
• Publishing applications to the App Store and maintaining the codebase
• Keeping up to date with current and upcoming features in relevant platforms
• Driving best practices for continuous improvement of products, processes, and tools.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Android development using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Proven experience with writing automated tests using frameworks like Appium.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Kotlin, and experience with iOS development, including Objective-C and Swift.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $70.00 per hour
