Due to our continued growth, we are hiring for a Software Engineer (ColdFusion) to join PracticeMatch , an M3 company.

Job Description:
The ColdFusion Engineer is responsible for developing internal and external data-driven web-based applications based on specifications from a project manager. This individual will also work with the project manager and QA Analyst to debug the code, put the code into production, maintain the code during its complete lifecycle, as well as go into an existing code base, understand the inter-workings of that code, troubleshoot bugs, and add new features to that code. The applications will be developed in ColdFusion, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, React/Vue JS, Git and built on an SQL Server database. This individual will work closely with the senior web application engineer as well as the other technology professionals and project stakeholders.

• Develop new features in the application in ColdFusion / MS SQL Server
• Develop the front-end of the application using either jQuery or React/Vue JS utilizing a ColdFusion driven backend
• Maintain current documentation for all applications supported by the developer
• Write and debug Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, problems, and errors encountered across our web properties, internal applications, and systems as reported or experienced.
• Utilize git / GitHub for source code control
• Provide expertise to influence project, initiative, and maintenance technical direction during discovery, planning, and implementation stages.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalency in a computer science related field required
• 3+ years of programming experience in the following: ColdFusion, ColdFusion Components (CFC), JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS
• 3 years’ experience in SQL
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills – both verbal and written
• Source Code control (Git)
