Role: Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Analyst

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an Oracle EBS Functional Analyst with experience in on-premise release R12.2.10. The Analyst will work effectively under minimal supervision and provide application support for developing and supporting customizations and extensions covering modules in Finance or Oracle Projects. This position will support our business users, participate in all relevant change management activities, and ensure overall service delivery and customer satisfaction. This will require interaction with core business users and the need to work as a team member of a large Oracle support team.

Responsibilities:

1. Provides application functional and limited technical support for Oracle eBusiness Systems Modules in Finance (AR, AP, GL, CM, FA, iExpense, and iSupplier) and in Projects (Costing, Billing, Accounting).
2. Collaborates with customers to ascertain system specifications and business/technical requirements to create spec documents that meet their needs.
3. Troubleshoots, identifies the underlying cause, and recommends workarounds and/or corrective actions to solve problems.
4. Uses diagnostic scripts, SQL, and other query writing tools to analyze data, extract data for ad hoc reporting, and identify constraints and integrity issues with data.
5. Provides data correction scripts to address defects due to inconsistent data states.
6. Conducts conference room pilots and user acceptance testing on defect fixes, features, and system improvements, ensuring acceptance criteria are met without significant impediments.
7. Responsible for completing all required Change Management tasks and relevant SOX control requirements (if applicable).
8. Utilizes industry-accepted project management principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices throughout the project life cycle.
9. Acquires and utilizes business knowledge by leveraging available resources (internet, books, periodicals, classes/workshops, conferences, etc.) to develop and deliver business expertise solutions.
10. Tracks deliverables and provides reporting to management as needed.
11. Willing to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university with an Accounting Major, or 5 years of related industry experience is required.
2. At least 3-5 years of experience working with and supporting Oracle eBusiness Modules, preferably in Finance and/or Oracle Projects.
3. Able to review and understand programming logic constructs used in Workflow, Apex, BI Publisher Reports to learn the current system state.
4. 3+ years of experience with SQL and PL/SQL is required.
5. 3+ years of programming experience in Oracle Apex is preferred.
6. Experience working in a multi-developer, team environment is preferred.
7. Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) is preferred.
8. Able to articulate application behavior, current and future states, in a language that is understood by the end user.
