In today's fast-evolving cybersecurity landscape, businesses across all sectors rely on us to provide reliable solutions to their growingly intricate risks and vulnerabilities. As part of our Cyber Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM) team, you will play a pivotal role in achieving this objective. You will assist our clients in understanding and contextualizing their cybersecurity threats, as well as in evaluating, enhancing, and developing their security operations to counter these threats effectively.
The opportunity
Cybersecurity threats, the proliferation of social media, extensive data storage demands, stringent privacy laws, and the necessity for uninterrupted business operations all mandate robust information security strategies. In this role, you will spearhead the deployment of cutting-edge security solutions for our clients, aiding them in safeguarding their enterprises. You will be an integral part of a globally interconnected team of experts dedicated to addressing our clients' most challenging information security issues.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing staff and guiding complex technical initiatives
- Mentoring team members and resolving issues that impact the department
- Meeting objectives and performance metrics
- Engaging in sales processes, identifying growth opportunities, and leading RFP responses
- Providing strategic guidance and leadership to the cybersecurity team
- Mentoring both senior and junior team members
- Developing, coordinating, and implementing comprehensive security documentation
- Establishing and reporting on performance metrics
- Leading teams in real-time monitoring and incident management
- Managing team leads and overseeing staffing levels
- Acting as a primary contact for issue communication and escalation
- Staying informed on the latest cyber threat trends and technologies
To qualify for the role you must have
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity operations
- Proficient in IDS, SIEM tools, and other essential cybersecurity technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and industry standards.
- Proven track record of leading cybersecurity projects and initiatives.
