Description

We're looking for a Director of Finance , working in the Real Estate industry in Boston, Massachusetts, United States .

1. Provides oversight to the Chief Financial Officer on various tasks.
2. Oversees the accounting, investor reporting, and tax filings for corporate entities, direct real estate investments, and private equity investments.
3. Prepares annual corporate budgets and oversees quarterly lender reporting.
4. Manages corporate cash, invoice approvals, receivable collections, and owner distributions.
5. Oversees payroll funding, 401k, and worker compensation audits.
6. Manages tax estimates and planning for owners.
7. Assists with monitoring treasury activities and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and internal controls.
8. Provides oversight with corporate and investment fund audits.
9. Analyzes and reviews quarterly financial statements for investment funds.
10. Assists with capital planning for investment funds.
11. Assists with structuring acquisitions, dispositions, and joint venture agreements.
12. Reviews loan agreements and monitors debt covenant compliance.
13. Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance internal controls and efficiencies in financial reporting.
14. Researches industry and accounting guidance and its applicability to real estate funds and the accounting and reporting process.
15. Assists with assessing team composition and project future staffing needs.
16. Assists with structuring and developing new real estate products.
17. Prepares special reports and projects, collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends.
