Job Description:

We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Global Vice President of Manufacturing to lead and transform our global operations across multiple sites. This role requires a leader who is equally comfortable developing high-level strategies and rolling up their sleeves to drive execution on the shop floor. You will be responsible for setting the vision, leading Lean and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence to support our ambitious growth objectives.

As the Global VP of Manufacturing, you will build and sustain a high-performance manufacturing organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration. You will ensure resources are effectively deployed to meet operational commitments and deliver consistent, measurable results.

Location: On-site in Duncan, SC or Brooklyn Park, MN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead global manufacturing operations across four sites: Duncan, SC; Brooklyn Park, MN; Padova, Italy; and Terneuzen, Netherlands.
  • Implement and sustain a LEAN Management System (LMS), ensuring site teams actively execute and sustain high-impact operational improvements.
  • Mentor and develop site leaders (e.g., Plant Managers), focusing on key deliverables, career growth, and leadership development.
  • Establish a clear vision for the global manufacturing organization, aligning it with company strategies and translating it into actionable goals and metrics at the site level.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve manufacturing goals and broader business objectives.
  • Ensure manufacturing operations are aligned with customer needs, prioritizing quality, on-time delivery, and responsiveness to changing demands.
  • Guide site leadership teams in identifying and resolving production and quality challenges, ensuring proper follow-up to prevent recurrence.
  • Work closely with Finance and site leadership to deliver accurate forecasting and meet monthly shipment and cost targets.
  • Partner with Engineering and R&D teams to ensure seamless new product introductions (NPI) and ongoing process improvements.
  • Champion safety, employee wellness, and a positive work environment through leadership and example.
  • Drive cross-site collaboration, sharing capacity, knowledge, and best practices to optimize global operations.
  • Foster a growth-oriented, high-accountability culture, celebrating successes while addressing performance gaps with clear action plans.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience with a strong emphasis on assembly processes.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing leadership teams (e.g., Plant Managers).
  • 5+ years of experience managing remote, multi-country operations.
  • Proven track record of hands-on leadership in global manufacturing operations, driving Lean initiatives and Continuous Improvement (CI) projects with measurable impact.
  • Direct experience leading process improvements on the shop floor, resulting in quantifiable efficiency gains, cost reductions, and quality enhancements across multi-site, multi-country operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in capital equipment, or the packaging industry is a strong plus.

The estimated salary range for this position is $200,000 – $230,000, plus bonus potential and participation in a Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP). This pay range is a good-faith estimate at the time of posting. Final compensation will be based on multiple factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, and the geographic location of the role.
