Job Title: Systems Administrator
Job Type: Direct Hire
Location: 5 days on-site in Mesa, AZ
Summary:
This hire will report directly to the Director of Infrastructure and Information Security. Our client is a recreational vehicle (RV) retailer that sells new and used RVs, parts, and offers customer financial services. They have over 100 RV dealerships and more than 1,000 service bays across the United States. System Administration Tasks of their Microsoft Environment
- Setting up, maintaining, and managing user access tasks may include…
- Updating dynamic distribution group rules,
- Creating packages within Microsoft Intune
- Writing scripts (using PowerShell) to identify active users and automate tasks
- Assisting the DevOps Engineering Team – tasks may include…
- Writing custom configuration XML files
- Building out a container registry for the DevOps team.
Troubleshooting and User Support
- Troubleshooting IT related issues – Tasks may include…
- Software Troubleshooting / Issue resolution:
- Diagnosing email delivery problems
- Updating passwords, etc.
- Hardware troubleshooting and installs
- Assisting with plugging in monitors
- Setting up desk stations
- Troubleshooting blue screens, etc.
On-Call Rotation
- Participating in an on-call rotation to handle issues as they arise after hours
Providing Mentorship
- Willing and able to provide mentorship regarding Azure
- Working closely with Service Desk team / if they escalate a ticket they should be able to handle, would ideally want this person to not get mad and instead, sit with that technician to walk them through how to handle it
Required Technical Skills:
- PowerShell Scripting
- Must have experience with Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Must have experience with Intune for mobile device management
- Experience with Azure containers / Container Registry
- Understanding of what DevOps team needs support on from this perspective
- Microsoft 365 suite experience
- Experience using these applications and establishing connectivity/troubleshooting as needed.
