Job Summary
The HVAC Engineer is accountable for the smooth operation and functioning of all heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems in the hotel, as well as the repair of equipment as assigned. He/she is also responsible for participating in the preventative maintenance program, handling guest requests, and other work orders as assigned. May require driving shuttle van when needed (property specific).
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) with at least 2 years’ experience with commercial HVAC equipment required. In process of or confirmed completion of a 2-year basic HVAC course at an accredited college or trade school is preferred (may be required by assigned hotel location).
- Cooling tower, chiller, and refrigeration experience is required.
- EPA Universal license is required; HVAC License preferred.
- Knowledge of building automated systems preferred.
- Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
- Valid driver’s license for the applicable state (as required by hotel).
Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair all HVAC equipment, including but not limited to rooftop units, exhaust systems, chillers, ice machines, commercial kitchen equipment, and cooling towers.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment.
- Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Min: USD $18.74/Hr.
Mid: USD $23.42/Hr.
Max: USD $28.11/Hr.
