Key Responsibilities: Technical Operations/Maintenance
Technical Operations includes the maintenance and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams, and more.
Job overview and responsibilities
- To provide advanced analytical support to scheduling, staging, and production flow activities for engine repairs/overhauls.
- Ensure initiatives are tracked to completion on time and within TAT.
- Prioritize work in progress to meet shop demand signals and monitor scheduling activities and production status daily.
- Initiate corrective and preventive action based on analysis of root cause when production status or schedules deviate from operational goals.
- Monitor scheduling activities and production status daily to ensure efficient flow of all repairs lots for improving efficiency and meeting customer expectations.
- Provide support by developing reports to identify non-productive inventory and follow process to remove excess inventory from WIP.
- Provide solutions, status, and result of analysis, problem solving, and reporting on performance against plan.
- Provide mentorship and support to MPA’s/business analyst.
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in Aviation, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or similar degree areas.
- 3+ years maintenance production planning experience.
- 3+ years business analyst experience.
- Maintain prioritization and flow reports for production supervisors/leads.
- Develop standard reports/processes to ensure on-time delivery and within budget.
- Monitor Engine induction/production plan.
- Engine maintenance and component planning.
- MS Access and Excel required.
- Experience building SQL queries and using data visualization software such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of UA EMS system.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Identify opportunities and take action to build strategic relationships between one’s area and other areas, teams, departments, units, or organizations to help achieve business goals.

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.
