The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in law enforcement and/or military security. Previous experience providing security training would be helpful, as would the ability to provide briefings to senior officials and groups.

Major Duties
- Develops and manages the security program for the Bothell Mobile Emergency Response Support (MERS) detachment. Typical duties include: Conducting and overseeing security and anti-terrorism education and training, ensuring proper functioning and operations of all security and access control systems, conducting risk assessments, security surveys, and investigations as necessary, procuring security equipment and systems, monitoring work performed by contractors installing security equipment and systems, and coordinating with federal, state, and local law enforcement organizations and private security firms to ensure force protection and security of government assets, property, facilities, and operations.
