Job Description:

• Experience as an MSSQL DBA
• Hands-on Experience with Azure and AWS managed instances (RDS)
• Experience building and maintaining clustered MSSQL environments
• Strong experience with MSSQL and the TSQL language
• Strong experience in database administration including the following:
  • Backups
  • Database setup and deployment
  • Clustering
  • User Access
  • AD User Access Rules
  • Data Warehousing
• Experience managing the following databases
  • Microsoft SQL Server (Strong, Required)
  • MySQL (Strong)
  • DynamoDB (Preferred)
• Strong experience setting up and using database monitoring, alerting and manipulation tools such as RedGate
• Understands the principles and best practices for writing stored procedures and MSSQL jobs
• Experience in PowerShell preferred

Methodologies and Practices:

• Demonstrated ability to handle and resolve data issues, stored procedure errors, and application job problems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on performance and data integrity.

Additional Experience:

• Experience with handling private and sensitive data in accordance with compliance requirements.
• Strong hands-on experience with cybersecurity measures and practices relevant to database management.
