The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Network Engineer to join our Network Software team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging new software or significant enhancements to existing software of moderate complexity. You will work both independently and as part of a team to develop solutions across various disciplines and explain solutions and procedures to stakeholders.

This is a Work From Home position available from any US-based location.
The Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement computer programs to enhance and update the computer system.
- Analyze programming requests to assist with integration with current applications.
- Conduct project implementation, research, and evaluate problems, and recommend and implement decisions.
- Develop and deploy automation solutions for business needs.
- Provide technical expertise and training to end users, including System Operators/Programmers.
- Collaborate with the development team to improve system architecture.
- Ensure the process of creation and delivery of design and solution in accordance with architectural direction.
- Mentor and train other Software Developers and seek to continually improve processes.
- Migrate existing applications using Informix to MS SQL Server.
- Migrate existing applications using Delphi to new standards.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- 6+ years of overall professional software development experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on development experience with a structured language.
- Knowledge of Delphi and .NET development.
- Knowledge in Unit Testing and Server Administration.
- Experience with API integration, Micro Services, and Containers.
- Detailed understanding of networking at all layers.
- Familiarity with concepts related to continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Experience with Relational and Non-Relational databases. Specifically experience with Informix and MS SQL Server required.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Lumen UCC applications and services.
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools, such as GITLAB CI, Jenkins, and ITCDM.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in test and production environments.
- Ability to identify, assess, and integrate various requests using existing technologies and services.
- Work under agile principles.
- Supportive and collaborative management ability in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges:
$103,711 - $138,281 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$108,896 - $145,195 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$114,082 - $152,109 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
