Currently, we have an Application Architect opportunity with a well-established specialty law firm known for its industry-leading expertise in financial services, mortgage banking, and real estate law.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing IT team and help shape the technical strategy and architecture for the firm’s expanding technology needs. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, detail-oriented, and proactive in taking ownership of IT projects.

Your Specific Duties Will Include:

• Collaborating with internal teams and external clients to develop and implement technical strategies and architectures.
• Identifying and mitigating business risks related to solution architecture.
• Designing and developing scalable, enterprise-grade software solutions.
• Maintaining and enhancing existing software platforms.
• Establishing and promoting best practices and coding standards in software development.
• Identifying opportunities for creating reusable components.
• Mentoring IT team members and assisting with project management tasks.
• Researching and evaluating new technologies and tools to optimize business processes.
• Participating in Agile-focused events such as stand-ups, grooming, planning, and retrospectives.

Specific Qualifications for the Position Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Expertise in C#, .NET stack, Windows Service Programs, WinForms, OAuth/ Server, Entity Framework, SQL Server, and SSRS.
• Experience with document creation and solutions.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and concisely.
• Proven ability to establish coding standards and lead technical initiatives.
• Must be willing to work on-site in Phoenix, AZ, for the majority of the time.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in legal, mortgage, or financial services industries.
• Previous experience working in an Agile environment.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.

Pay Rate Range: $115,000 - $160,000 per year
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on factors such as qualifications, skills, experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision, as well as a 401(k) plan.
