What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is seeking a DevSecOps Developer/Lead for our US Air Force Cloud One Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration contract. This role will focus on security vulnerability management and agile methodologies, thriving in a culture of innovation and solving complex technical and procedural problems at both team and portfolio levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevSecOps practices, cloud technologies, and security implementations, with the ability to lead and mentor a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructure on Oracle Cloud and AWS.
  2. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to automate the deployment process.
  3. Implement and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes.
  4. Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  5. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash and Python.
  6. Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  7. Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues.
  8. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
  9. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure the integrity of our systems.
  10. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, tools, and technologies.
  11. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. 7+ years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or similar role.
  3. Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
  4. Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools, particularly Kubernetes and Docker.
  5. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform.
  6. Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
  7. Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly GitLab.
  8. Solid understanding of security best practices and tools.
  9. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  10. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  11. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  12. DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+) or higher.
  13. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  1. Experience with multiple cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP).
  2. Advanced security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH).
  3. Experience leading DevSecOps teams or mentoring junior developers.
  4. Familiarity with additional programming languages and tools.
  5. Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (NIST 800-141, DoD STIGs, etc.).
  6. Experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
  7. Familiarity with AI/ML integration in cloud and security environments.
  8. Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.
  9. Knowledge of FedRAMP and DoD Cloud Computing SRG requirements.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is: $68,400-$143,700. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
