Alliance Resource Group has partnered with a stable real estate developer and operator of multifamily homes with properties in the Western US. The position will be responsible for managing their bi-weekly payroll processing of 100 employees and benefit administration.
Primary Responsibilities: - Prepare bi-weekly payroll
- Perform payroll-related functions including but not limited to: processing new hires, termination status changes, tax changes, wage garnishments, deductions, direct deposit, employment verification, 401k and year-end reporting when necessary (W-2, W-2c, 1099 etc).
- Account set up and ensure compliance with federal, state and local agencies.
- Assist with payroll and benefit audits.
- Respond to payroll related inquiries from internal/external parties.
- Provide ad hoc reports to various departments as required.
- Plan, develop, and implement policies, procedures and controls to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
- Review and process employee travel and expense reports in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with company corporate card programs.
- Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate T&E reporting in the ERP system.
- Providing support to employees regarding expense system usage and related questions or issues that may arise.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred but not required.
- 7+ years’ experience with payroll processing and benefits administration including new hire paperwork, 401K, broker communication and benefit support.
- Payroll system experience – Paycom required.
- Experience with accounting system Yardi a plus.
- Highly detail oriented, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
