Job Description

As a Development Tools Software Engineer for the Manufacturing Product Engineering group of Intel, the responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Be the content owner for Production Platform Validation and Circuit Marginality Validation teams.
• Work hand-in-hand with customers to strategize, develop, validate, enable, and stabilize the system test contents to be used in Intel's high volume manufacturing flow.
• The system test contents include Intel architecture related contents, synthetic contents, and Operating Systems-based contents.
• Be a partner of Platform validation teams to provide contents that are user-friendly and highly optimized for test time and test coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience relevant to computer system/platform development/validation.
• Candidate needs to have knowledge and hands-on experience with computer architecture, general computer HW and SW configurations including BIOS and Drivers.
• Having experience in using Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, Ubuntu, Yocto) related applications to test the core, memory, IOs, or graphics capabilities of platforms is a strong plus.
• Have a record of programming experience using Python / high-level C# / C++.
• The candidate needs to have a proven record of debugging skills on complex/ambiguous/cross-teams problem-solving.
• Team player with the ability to work with stakeholders from various teams and countries.

Working Model
