Responsibilities
Support tasks that involve engineering development, integration, and interface design analysis, installation, integration, fielding and field analysis, operation, maintenance, and testing of hardware and software. Perform system-level design and configuration of network systems, including determination of hardware, operating system, and other platform specifications, to meet project requirements while maintaining interoperability with existing sponsor networks. Plan large-scale systems projects through vendor comparison and trade and cost studies. Perform a variety of systems engineering tasks and activities that are broad in nature and are concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation, and troubleshoot unique or complex problems.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in network engineering
- 3+ years of experience with Wireless LAN
- 3+ years of experience with configuring and maintaining Cisco products
- 3+ years of experience with network encryption and firewalls
- Experience with site surveys, system installations, configuration management, maintenance, modernization and sustainment of a global enterprise network
- Experience implementing specific network solutions to support server requirements, including load-balancing, VPN's, and firewall contexts
- Ability to resolve complex network problems, operate network analyzers, WAN test equipment and network simulators
- TS/SCI with polygraph
- Associate's degree or 2 years of experience in network engineering in lieu of a degree
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,143.26 /year in our lowest geographic market up to $165,143.26 /year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, sign-on payments, relocation, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of full paid medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
