About the Company

One of the leading Specialty Contractors in California is looking for a Project Manager for their Northern California location. Their expertise includes framing, drywall, exterior finishing, lath and plaster applications, acoustic and specialty ceilings, and the provision of doors, frames, hardware, and various specialty services. A true leader in the walls and ceiling industry for over 70 years offering structural and interior systems packages, including commercial drywall, design assist, prefab panelized walls, and more. Experienced in public and private sectors, including high-rise, mixed-use, medical, commercial, hospitality, retail, interiors, and institutional construction.

About the Position

Manage multiple projects by overseeing planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation while ensuring compliance with specifications and financial goals. Coordinate field staff, materials, and equipment, and handle contract management, including RFIs, change orders, and submittals. Monitor budgets, resource allocation, and project schedules, providing accurate cost reporting and forecasting. Support procurement by providing material lists and ensuring timely orders. Attend on-site meetings, manage subcontractor setup, and implement quality assurance programs. Identify opportunities for project enhancements and ensure overall success and profitability. Conduct team performance evaluations and maintain ongoing progress assessments through regular reviews.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 4+ years of as a Project Manager in Framing and Drywall
  • Computer: Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with On-Center software (QB/OST) preferred.
  • Project history that includes large commercial drywall projects
  • Some estimating experience is preferred
  • Ability to read detailed (blueprints) plans and specifications.

Compensation

$100,000 to 175,000
